Oles' Story
we love what we do. You wouldn't be a farmer if you weren't passionate about it."
In the fertile soil of Western New York, Oles Family Farm has grown far more than vegetables. With 4 generations living and working on the land, what started as a simple pumpkin patch in 1963 has bloomed into a vital local food hub, serving hundreds of families and restaurants across the region with fresh, seasonal organic produce.
The farm’s story is grounded in the vision of working together as a family. That dream took shape decades ago, when the land was purchased with the hope of building something enduring. Over time, the Oles family poured themselves into that vision—raising children among the rows of vegetables, shaping a work ethic rooted in care, kindness, and responsibility.
When a busload of chefs visited the farm a few decades ago, they learned what the Oles family has known all along - seasonally grown produce, picked right from the ground, is the best way to feed your family and friends. Today, Oles Family Farm delivers freshly picked produce to over 15 of your favorite WNY restaurants, including Marble & Rye, Billy Club, and James Beard nominated Waxlight Bar a Vin.
Today, Oles Family Farm stands as a beacon of what’s possible when land, labor, and love come together. It’s not just about vegetables. It’s about nourishing a community, preserving a way of life, and passing that legacy forward—one season at a time.
